Suresh Kumar Dhurve’s favorite subject is the tree of life which is partially seen in this composition. He often presents trees surrounded by human figures, cosmic elements and birds. In this painting he features creeper divided equally on the canvas, one side showing humans coming upwards and the on the other side they are going to the bottom of the artwork. Two birds are visible too on each side of the mythical figure, while his signature pattern is fish scales and drops of water. Each of his painting takes the viewer to a different tangent. Painted in several bright colors, the placement of motifs showcasing village life and the blending of human figures with rituals and nature depict the Gonds inherited skills and creativity.
