Vijay Sadashiv Mashe?s themes are quite naturalistic and involve rural motifs abundantly. Patterns are quite compact which is clear from the distinctly created strokes showing the grassland with the rocky terrain. His canvases are a reflection of the Warli community and its daily activities. He creates an entire landscape on the canvas. One of the themes in this work is the relationship between humans and nature. The painting is filled with minute details that throw light on Warli life and culture which indeed is busy and orderly in this depiction.
