Description
In Bhil paintings, the bullock carts for transport also remain in existence in the Bhil tribal populated areas for a long future due to the predominance of the bullock farming system and the poor socio-economic condition of the Bhil people. An art form with deep connections with nature, Bhil art is usually characterized by dotted line patterns. The iconography of this form includes motifs of animals, birds, trees, mythological figures, etc. Colours derived from natural pigments are used often in Bhil works which lends an organic quality to them.
